Trek to the Grand Pond
Brad and Fran planned a trek to the grand pond. "Grab snacks!" Brad said with a grin. Fran packed fresh plums and crisp chips.
"Do you think the ducks will swim by?" Fran asked.
"Yes, and maybe we'll spot frogs on logs, too," Brad replied.
At the pond, they sat on the grass and watched the blissful ducks. "Look, a frog splashed! How grand!" Fran clapped.
The sun set, casting a pink blush on the sky. "We must trek back," Brad warned.
With full backpacks and happy hearts, they left the pond, dreaming of the next fun trip.
