Jake and the Big Bone

Jake the brave dog loved to roam. One day, he found a big bone. "Oh, this will be grand!" he thought. But when Jake tried to take it home, three mice exclaimed, "Leave it alone!"

Jake wagged his tail and did a dance. He said, "Can't we share by chance?" The mice looked at Jake and smiled with glee, "You're kind, Jake, we'll agree!"

So they split the bone, and all was bright. They played and laughed until the night. Jake and the mice, a happy trio, learned that fun can come when you say, "Hello!"
