Abygail and the Butterfly's Day of Delight

story image
Abygail the fairy blinked in the bright sun. A butterfly flapped by, its wings a splash of color in the sky.
"Let's play!" she said with a grin.
So the butterfly zipped and Abygail skipped. They danced past cliffs, dodged twigs, and splashed in streams. Abygail sang, her voice like bells, while the butterfly flitted, never at a loss.
But then night fell, and so did the calm. Death seemed to breathe in the still air.
"Don't fret," whispered Abygail, with quick wit. "We'll rest till dawn."
Safe in a flower cup, with the moon above, they slept, dreaming of bright days to come.
