Once in a town not too far away, lived a young boy named Sammy. Sammy loved his striped socks and his floppy red hat. But most of all, he loved Eid! "Eid's here, Eid's near! It's the best time of the year!" Sammy sang each morning.
The sky was painted with swirls of pink and gold, like a fizzy lemonade. Everyone was in a flurry, preparing for the big day. Sammy's house buzzed with joy and delicious scents of cooking.
Sammy's mom asked, "Do you have your Eid clothes ready, my dear?" Sammy grinned from ear to ear, "Oh yes, my Eid clothes are near!"
With a hop, skip, and a jump, he was off to his friend Mia's house. "Mia, oh Mia! It's Eid, it's fun! Let's race to the market and see who'll run!"
The market was bustling, a magical sight—colors and sparkles, left and right! "Baa, baa, baa!" called the goats, "Cluck, cluck!" clucked the hens. "Chirp, chirp!" sang the sparrows, joining the friends.
Sammy and Mia spotted the sweets stall. "Yummy for our tummies, let's have one for all!" laughed Mia. "Baklava, jalebi, and sweet dates galore," giggled Sammy, "each better than before!"
On they went, spreading joy with a wink. Everywhere they wandered, everyone linked! It was as if the town was a giant, festive chain, connecting hands and hearts like a joyful twain.
As the sun dipped low, the masjid doors opened wide, welcoming all with warmth and pride. "Time to pray," said Sammy, bowing his head, "for Eid is loved and widely spread."
The Imam said, "Being together is what Eid's about, sharing love, joy, never leaving one out!" Sammy felt warm inside, like a cookie fresh from the oven, with everyone beside.
With nightfall's hush, Sammy and Mia headed home, dreaming of sweet treats and adventures yet to roam. They whispered, "Eid's here, Eid's near," as sleepy eyelids grew. "It's truly magic, the sky like midnight stew!"
In bed, Sammy gazed at the stars that winked, "I'll dream of Eid wishes and laughter, synced!" A silent promise in his heart he'd keep—'Eid's magic memories, safely to sleep.'
With a last happy sigh and a goodnight hug tight, Sammy drifted to dreamland, till the first morning light.
