All except for Sammy! Bright-eyed and curious, Sammy couldn’t keep his eyes off the wonders around. He wove through crowds with a whirl and a twirl, wondering why heads were down, not up where the rainbows curl.

“Tweet, tap, tap! Beep, beep, beep!” went the sounds of smartphones, like a symphony of sleepy sheep.

Sammy spotted a cave, dark and deep, with a sign that read, “Welcome to Smartphone Sorcerer's keep!” Curiosity tingled at the tip of his toes, as he took a step, and then another, into what no one knows.

Inside sat the Sorcerer, surrounded by glowing gizmos and gadgets galore. He had a hat of swirling pixels and robes of scrolling texts—a wizard of whizzing technology.

“Ah, young Sammy,” cackled the clever Sorcerer, “I make folks cocoon, in their phones far too soon! But you've found my hidden room, where the real magic can bloom.”

“Buzz and bleep, peep and leap, drain away joy and keep all asleep,” chanted the Sorcerer, waving his wand of whistle snaps.

“But with a twist of twinkle and a sparkle of charm, let curiosity and kindness be the true balm.” As the Sorcerer twirled, Sammy thought of his town, of bright skies and friendships lost to frowns.

Sammy knew what to do. With a hop and a pop, he scattered around ‘Unplugging Snacks’ with a magical plop. “Taste a treat and feel the beat,” he cheered, waking them up to feel the breeze so sweet.

And thus, Tinker Town came alive again, with laughter and cheer that rang clear. Heads lifted high to the whimsical sky, where smartphones no longer monopolized the eye.
