The Wise King and the Wood Cutter

Once upon a time, there was a wise king who lived in a big castle. The king was known for his wisdom and fairness. He always listened carefully to the problems of his people and tried his best to help them. One day, a wood cutter named Jack came to the king with a request. Jack said, 'Your Majesty, I work hard every day to cut wood for my family, but I am unable to make enough money to feed them. Can you please help me?' The king listened attentively to Jack's problem and replied, 'I understand your situation, Jack. Let me think of a solution.'

The king is sitting on a shiny, golden throne in his castle. Jack, the Jack, the wood cutter, has brown hair, strong arms, and a friendly smile, is standing in front of him holding an axe.

The wise king thought for a while and then said, 'Jack, I have an idea. I will give you a bigger piece of land where there are more trees to cut. This way, you will be able to collect more wood and sell it for a higher price.' Jack was very happy with the king's solution and thanked him for his help. He worked hard on the new land and soon started making more money to support his family.

Jack is working happily in a lush green forest, cutting trees with his sharp axe. The king is smiling and watching him from a distance.

A few months later, Jack returned to the king and said, 'Your Majesty, I am making a good living now, thanks to your help. But I have noticed that the new land has fewer trees than before. If I continue to cut them down at this rate, soon there will be no more trees left.' The king listened carefully to Jack's concern and realized that he had made a mistake by giving Jack more land without thinking about the consequences.

Jack is standing in front of the king, pointing towards the forest, where only a few trees are left.

The king admitted his mistake and said, 'Jack, I apologize for not considering the impact on the environment. You are right, we need to protect our forests for the future. I will make sure to plant more trees and take care of the ones we have left.' Jack was happy to hear the king's words. He knew that the king had listened to him and would take action to save the forest.

The king and Jack are shaking hands, smiling. In the background, workers are planting new trees.
