Roza stared out the window, clouds covered the sky. She thought about her math test.
Opening her umbrella, she stepped outside. Raindrops danced all around her.
Roza walked briskly, splashing through puddles, her rubber boots soaked.
In class, Roza's friend Mia looked sad. Her hands were empty – no umbrella.
At recess, the rain stopped. 'Do you want to share my umbrella later?' Roza asked Mia.
Mia smiled. 'That would be nice. Thank you, Roza.'
Roza did well on her test. 'Your studying paid off,' her teacher said.
After school, the rain started again. Luck was on Mia's side this time.
Under one umbrella, Roza and Mia shared stories and laughter, forgetting the drizzle.
Near Mia's house, they saw a small kitten shivering under a bush.
They rescued the kitten and warmed it inside Mia's jacket.
At Mia's doorstep, they said goodbye. 'Same time tomorrow?' Mia asked. Roza nodded.
