The Princess and the Wonky Dragon

Once upon a time, in a land shimmering with sunshine and smiles, lived a Princess. Not just any princess, mind you, but a princess with a heart as bright as a sunflower and a spirit as bubbly as a babbling brook. This, my friends, was Princess Pailin.

Smile big and bright like the princess!

Princess Pailin wasn't one for twirling tiaras or sipping tea from fancy cups. Oh no! Princess Pailin, you see, had a passion for puddles, a love for ladybugs, and an absolute adoration for... ADVENTURE!

One day, while on a jaunt through the jungle, Princess Pailin stumbled upon something quite peculiar. It was a dragon, a magnificent green dragon... with a wonky wing! The dragon whimpered, a sad, sorry sound that tugged at the Princess's heartstrings.

Make a sad whimpering sound like the dragon!

"Oh dear dragon," chirped the Princess, her voice as sweet as mango sticky rice. "What's wrong? Why the gloomy grumble?" The dragon sighed, a sound like a sputtering volcano. "I crashed, you see," he croaked, "My wing, it's wonky, woe is me!"

Can you say hello to the dragon in a kind voice?

Princess Pailin, ever the resourceful one, knew just what to do. She rummaged through her backpack (for even princesses on adventures need snacks!) and pulled out... a roll of sparkly pink duct tape! "This," she declared, "will fix everything!"

Can you clap your hands once for every sparkly thing on the princess's duct tape?

The dragon, skeptical but hopeful, let the Princess work her magic. She carefully taped his wonky wing, humming a happy tune as she worked. And wouldn't you know it? The tape held! The dragon flapped his wings, tentatively at first, and then... WHOOSH!

Flap your arms like the dragon is trying to fly!

He soared! Higher and higher, like a magnificent green kite against the blue sky. The dragon whooped with glee, his joy echoing through the jungle. "You did it, Princess!" he boomed, "My wing, it's wonderful! You're a whiz!"

Reach your arms up high like you're flying with the dragon!

And so, the Princess and the dragon, with his wonderfully wonky, sparkly pink wing, became the best of friends. They went on many more adventures, sharing laughter, kindness, and of course, plenty of sparkly pink duct tape. For you see, a little bit of kindness, a sprinkle of ingenuity, and a whole lot of sparkle can fix just about anything.

Give a big hug to a friend, just like the princess and the dragon!
