Today was Terry the Tiger’s first day at nursery school. He felt jittery!

He clutched his mommy’s hand as they walked to the Sunshine Nursery School.

Big colorful letters above the door said 'Welcome!' Terry gulped and let go of his mommy.

Inside, he saw puzzles, books, and a painting corner. 'Wow!' he whispered.

Mrs. Kangaroo hopped up. 'Hello, Terry! I'm your teacher.'

Terry spotted a sand table. He smiled shyly and began to play.

Another tiger named Tabby said, 'Hi Terry, can I play with you?'

Together, they built a sandcastle, sharing scoops and pails.

Snack time! Terry sat with new friends. They munched on fruit and giggled.

Mrs. Kangaroo read a story. Terry listened, engrossed in the adventure.

Too soon, it was time to go. 'I made friends!' Terry told his mom proudly.

'See you tomorrow!' Terry waved happily to Mrs. Kangaroo and Tabby.
