Once in the twinkles of the night, a small spaceship whizzed through the stars. Inside, a little astronaut named Astro was exploring space. He loved floating among the stars, but today his spaceship went whoosh and zoomed down to a bright blue planet called Earth.

With a bump, Astro landed in a green garden where he met a girl named Lily, who was looking for her lost ball. Lily had never seen an astronaut before, especially not one so small! And Astro had never seen an Earth girl before!

Lily was surprised but excited. 'Can I show you our planet?' she asked. Astro nodded. They started their adventure in the garden, where Lily introduced Astro to bouncing bunnies and buzzing bees. Astro told Lily stories of the Moon and Mars.

Next, they found Lily's ball near a giggling stream. They splashed in the water, and Lily showed Astro how to make paper boats. Astro showed Lily how to make a telescope using a clear crystal from his space pack.

The sun began to set, turning the sky orange and pink. Lily and Astro climbed the tallest hill, where they could see the twinkling lights of the city. Astro was amazed; it was different from the quiet stars, but just as beautiful.

As the stars appeared, Astro pointed out constellations to Lily. She was thrilled to learn about the Big Dipper and Orion. She then taught Astro to catch fireflies, their little lights blinking on and off in the dark.

It was time for Astro to head back to space. He hugged Lily and promised to visit again. Lily gave Astro her favorite compass so he would always find his way back. The stars were waiting, and with a wave, Astro's spaceship flew up, up and away!
