Once upon a time in a land full of chuckles and cheer, lived Danny the dragon, with dreams so clear.
He'd say, 'Oh dear, oh dear! I need my fire to appear!' At all dragon parties, they danced without fear.
Danny tried to breathe fire, but out came a puff. He huffed and he puffed, feeling quite gruff.
'Why can't I spout flames like the others?' he said. 'Will I stay this way, only smoke instead?'
His friend Ruby, who’s red as a ripe cherry pie, smiled and told him, 'It’s okay to be a bit shy.'
'First, you must practice with a little spark. Pretend your breath is a candle in the dark.'
Danny gave a try, with a breath light and slight. 'Poof!' out came a spark, a tiny delight.
'Practice each day, and soon it will grow. Fire is special, and it loves to flow.'
With a 'Huff' and a 'Puff' and a count of one, two, three, Danny practiced his breath, feeling oh so free.
His flame began to flicker, to dance in the air. 'I did it!’ he cheered with a flair so rare.
At the next dragon party, his flames joined the show. Danny felt proud with a fiery glow.
Because dragons like Danny are daring and bright, who find their fire and glow with delight.
